The HLH is surrounded by the main industrial and productive zones of the Dominican Republic such as: The Haina Industrial Zone, which has more than 1,300 service, industrial and agricultural production companies; and the Herrera Industrial Zone, with more than 2,000 micro and medium-sized companies. Additionally, the PIISA Free Zone Park, the country’s largest free zone park for medical and electronic devices manufacturing; the Nigua Free Zone Park, home of 30 large-scale and customizable manufacturing facilities for the manufacturing, shipping and handling solutions from multiple industries. And the Global Logistics and Free Zone Park, under construction, dedicated to the manufacture of medium-high technological content, especially manufacture of medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, electrical equipment and electronic components.
